I'm really nervous. Is that normal?
It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous before your boudoir session—most of my clients do! But don’t worry, those nerves usually melt away within the first few minutes. Once we get started, you’ll begin to relax and settle into the experience.
To help you feel more comfortable and confident in your body, I’ll also send over a simple stretching guide before your session. It’s a great way to get grounded, loosen up, and ease into those poses like a pro.
How do I know how to pose?
Don’t stress about posing—I’ve absolutely got you covered. With a background in gymnastics and dance, I deeply understand how the body moves and flows. I’m constantly studying posing techniques and know all the tricks to highlight your most flattering angles, no matter your shape or size. You’re in good hands!
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring a female friend if you think it’ll help you feel more relaxed. That said, sometimes having an extra set of eyes in the room can make you feel more self-conscious, so it’s totally up to you.
I don’t allow significant others or husbands in the studio—both out of respect for my husband and because their presence can unintentionally add pressure. This session is all about you—your comfort, your confidence, and your experience.
Do your packages come with hair and makeup?
Hair and makeup aren't included by default, but they are highly recommended. I’ve been a licensed stylist since 2006 and offer both hair and makeup as an add-on for your session. If you have a go-to stylist you love, that’s totally fine too! And if you’re more of an all-natural kind of gal, I fully support that as well. This session is all about what makes you feel the most comfortable and confident.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I completely understand the excitement of seeing your final photos! My editing process usually takes about 1–2 weeks, depending on how many images we capture and my current workload. I focus on thoughtful, natural edits—enhancing lighting, tone, and overall feel—while keeping your authentic beauty intact. I don’t heavily retouch or alter bodies because this experience is about celebrating you, just as you are.
Do you do outdoor boudoir sessions?
I currently don't have my planned outdoor spot setup yet, but if you have some private land, or know any spots, let me know and we'll set something up. I am always scouting for spots as well! While I do offer outdoor boudoir sessions, only if they are in a secluded area so nobody can see us during the session. I do this to protect you and my company.
